Key scenes of 'Deewar' now on Youtube

Years ago, I had read an article which suggested that ‘Deewar’ is the key to understanding Indian cinema.

So seminal is this Yash Chopra directed 1975 Film, written by Salim-Javed, that even today, nearly 50 years later, you cannot watch ‘Deewar’ free of cost on youtube.

Sure, one can buy it and the link is not too expensive. Yet, there is a certain charm in watching the scenes randomly.

Personally, this was a cause of deep consternation for me.

Therefore, I was thrilled to find a couple of days ago, that most of the key scenes of ‘Deewar’ are now available on Youtibe.

On this viewing, I noticed another line apart from the 3 which this article starts with – “Tumhare jaise ajeeb aadmi ka kya naam ho sakta hai”.
